The Job
As a Business Development Associate, you would be reporting to the Business Development Manager and be responsible for B2B sales within the country.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Identifying sales leads and pitching our services to new clients while conducting research on target clients.
- Following up on new business opportunities, staying close to client leads to convert deals.
- Acting as a Thought partner to BDM(s), Head(s) of BD, and exhibiting proficiency in task execution while creating pitches, and supporting the team via groundwork.
- Leading /running client meetings independently, and pulling support from the team when necessary.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
Ideal Candidate
- You have at least 2 years of experience within a Sales (B2B) role, ideally within an IT or SaaS startup.
- You have the passion and initiative to drive and land new deals.
- You are determined to reach or exceed goals regardless of challenges and can thrive well in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a strong sense of alignment with our purpose and mission.
- You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder with excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a curious-minded individual who loves wearing multiple hats.
